Type of Work
Healthcare / Interior fit-out A fast-track healthcare interior translating architectural sketches into a fully engineered, material-driven environment — without compromise on precision or identity.

Overview
This project is a clear demonstration of technical efficiency under time pressure. The task was to transform the creative concepts of architect Maurizio Nieri into build-ready solutions, coordinating finishes, lighting, and branding within an exceptionally short timeframe.

Our Beginning
The design intent was strong but abstract. The challenge lay in converting sketches into producible elements, resolving technical details in advance, and executing on site without unforeseen adjustments — all while meeting a fixed opening deadline.

Key interventions
• Rapid engineering and delivery: product development completed in three weeks, followed by a two-day on-site installation phase.
• Material branding: the reception logo was developed as a three-dimensional architectural element, integrated into the wall and accentuated by LED light cuts and microcement texture.
• Natural palette and boiserie: moss green surfaces paired with oak wood panelling establish a calm, professional atmosphere suited to a healthcare context.
• Bespoke solutions: custom boiserie and integrated mirrors refine spatial perception and maintain formal clarity.

Role of the team
Atelier Ottimo oversaw material identity, branding integration, and lighting logic. Berliner Bautechnik engineered the sketches into precise construction details and executed the installation with industrial reliability

Transformation
The result faithfully reflects the architect’s vision, translated into a robust, buildable system. What began as a concept became a controlled, finished environment — precise, calm, and ready for daily clinical use.
